Democracy and Voting for a More Equitable and Resilient Future

Join Pulitzer prize winner Hedrick Smith, whose recent film Democracy Rebellion documents citizen efforts to improve democracy, Amber McReynolds, founder and CEO of the Vote at Home Institute and co-author of When Women Vote, Amanda Litman co-founder and executive director of Run for Something, F. Willis Johnson author of Holding up Your Corner, Amy Stansbury, Editor-in-Chief of Austin Common and Garrett Arwa of The National Redistricting Foundation as we have an action-focused on conversation about how people can multiple sectors can strengthen and enliven our democracy. We'll explore the relationship between issues of democracy, voting, structural inequality and structural racism and provide concrete action steps for a path forward that gets underneath symptoms to root causes.
