***You do not need to have participated in the process to attend! New voices are welcomed and encouraged to participate! No prior knowledge or experience needed. Everything you need will be provided at the event.***
As part of the Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan update, this interactive workshop invites community members to respond to a set of bold, creative ideas designed to help us achieve the shared goals community members have helped shape so far. These ideas reflect the top community priorities identified through months of listening.
This is a space to ask questions, share reactions and help refine ideas before they become part of formal policy proposals. Think of it as a collaborative test kitchen for Boulder’s future.Light refreshments (finger food and beverages) will be provided.
At this workshop, you will:
- Learn about potential new ideas for a land use framework, and provide input on land use strategies and locations
- Hear a series of “Big Ideas” that could guide Boulder’s next steps
- Help identify which ideas feel promising, which need adjustment and which may be off track
- Suggest alternatives based on your lived experience and local insight
- Continue shaping the future of our community in a creative, inclusive setting
This session is designed to be collaborative—no experience needed. Just bring your perspective, your curiosity and your voice.
