Session Title: Building Trust to Bridge Divides and Spur Collective Impact
Date & Time: Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 2:10-3:10 PM ET with optional post session Exchange beginning at 3:15 PM ET.
This session is part of a larger event sponsored by Independent Sector entitled Centering Equity in Systems Change beginning on June 20 at 1PM EST.
Session Description: Every community is a mix of people, dreams, needs, and assets. To create lasting change in our circumstances or systems, we must bridge our divides, focus on strengths, and work together. Leading collective change means becoming expert in building trust around those things we share. In this workshop, we’ll explore stories of successful trust-building work and break into small groups to practice the listening and interviewing skills that bring people together around shared strengths and dreams.
